lot’s of crazy stuff! first of all my work computer crashed.. I was out of contact with the internets for 2 weeks! Then, come to find out Rhythm Skate Shop is shutting doors. The economy is pretty bad…plus the fact most kids are buying their skate stuff online. But this shouldn’t stop the scene Shawnee is still respected in the community and I’m sure he will continue to do things for the betterment of the sport. I can’t seem to figure out how I can be so out of the loop at times! I found out there is a new shop in town catering to skating and all things emo..maybe that’s just a rumor. Maybe I got half of it right. Whatever the case, now there is also talk of a skate shop in North Augusta? wtf? where are these people? Looks like the Dannys are back in biz at Skate City. So visit there often! Hope this weekend will be full of good things for everyone!

Ok how far out of the loop am I that it takes me almost a full year to drive up to Aiken SC and see a fenced in Public Skate Park? Where have I been? it’s one of the mysteries that surrounds me and makes me ask the questions as to WHO funded this? It had to be the city of Aiken.. and it had to have support from the citizens. I wish we could all just talk some sense into our Richmond County commissioners. I’m really upset that we can’t follow Aiken’s lead. To the point, I want to move there.

TGIF… It’s gonna be sunny and cool all weekend in Georgia.. I’m planning on enjoying it! I’m also planning on taking a trip to Aiken SC to visit friends and spread the word on something amazing…so top secret..its not even supposed to be talked about, typed about or discussed.. but you know how I do…I spread the plague to the masses..but in code…so….Big backyard bowl being built (we’ll use the code “BBBBB” on that one) and the codename: “Warlock” and you can place it in equation format like this: BBBBB + Ricky’s Place X Warlock2009.
what does this all mean? I have no freakin idea. But I’m documenting the construction and word on the streets is… Joel Mealing. So…decyper and have a great weekend!!!! YAY for Warlocks & Yamaha’s!
